"Many medical practices are being conducted in hospitals just for profit despite the fact that these are doing irreversible damage to patients," said Biswaroop, the young memory man of India. The author of 25 books on memory, mind and body, Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury has recently written a book titled "How To Return From The Hospital Alive" to expose medical practices. Biswaroop, 39, has earned the reputation of "Guinness world record holder in memory" by beating Germany’s Michaela Buchvaldova’s world record by recalling 14 randomly selected birth dates with names in same order in two minutes in Delhi on July 20, 2006.
Biswaroop was born with a hole in his heart, though, using his mind power techniques he made a record in performing Push-Ups. He did 198 push-ups in one minute and broke the previous record of 138 push-ups in one minute made by a Canadian citizen, Roy Berger. "In his seminar in Panchkula on January 27, Biswaroop would prove that the conventional modern medical treatment for diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, cancer, heart diseases, arthritis, and thyroid are all profit-driven and are not for the well being of the patients," said a close associate of the memory man.
Being an average hard-working boy, he scored average marks in class and was always having difficulty in writing and completing an essay in the examination. Though, due to his efforts and use of memory, his name was registered in Guinness World Records twice; once when he did the maximum number of push-ups and another world record by beating Germany‘s Michaela Buchvaldova's memory record.
A production engineer from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, Dr Biswaroop Roy chowdhury has addressed 2000 seminars and workshops internationally and has addressed more than 10 lakh audience as yet. He is also a producer of the world‘s first memory movie "Yaad Rakhenge Aap" and Editor in chief of "Asia Book of Records" apart from 24 other books, which are translated in more than18 languages including Hindi, English, Marathi, Nepali, Bengali and Telugu.
